Warner Robins, Ga. – Mary Irene Rutledge Grady, 90, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. Reverend Phil Bryant will be officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Mausoleum.

Irene was born May 8, 1926 in Snow Hill, NC to the late David and Alma Byrd Rutledge. Momma, Irene, ‘rene, Cook, Grandma, G-ma, and Grandma Grady to those who know and love her. Irene was a substitute teacher and worked retail for many years. She chose her jobs so that she could be home when her children got home from school. She was known to all as an excellent cook! She loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her loving first husband, Ralph Bland; her adoring daughter, Esther Faye Carr; and her loving granddaughter, Kimberly Dean Bland.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving and devoted husband, Robert “Bob” Grady, Warner Robins, GA; her devoted children: Karla Grady-Rucker, Ft. Valley,GA; Janie Krohne (Roger)Ocklawaha,FL; Billy Bland(Rene)Snow Camp,NC; Marcia Cooley(Kevin)Winter Springs, FL; her 15 grandchildren; her 28 great-grandchildren and her 1 great-great-grandchild.
