Obituary for Raymond Anthony Minter Jr.
Perry- Raymond “Ray” Anthony Minter, Jr., 47, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 5, 2017. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Chapel, with interment following in Perry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
Ray was born in Atlanta, GA on May 21, 1969 to his proud parents, Raymond Anthony Minter, Sr.(Cindy) of Palmetto, GA and Janet Layton Bryant of Columbus, GA. He was employed at Robins Air Force Base for 18 years. He attended Harvest Christian Fellowship in Warner Robins. Ray dearly loved his family, being outdoors and helping others.
Ray leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Terri Herrin Minter, Perry; son: Trey Anthony Minter, Perry; daughter: Robin Slyder (Tyler), Melbourne, FL; granddaughter: Amelia Slyder; 4 sisters: Kimberly Bell, Michelle Lewin, Sharyl Minter & Christa Eixman and many nieces and nephews.
