Rodney B. Hicks, Sr.


Warner Robins – Rodney B. Hicks, Sr., 79, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. A private interment will be held at Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Rodney was born to the late Albert Thomas Hicks, Sr. and Elbis Lewis Hicks on July 9, 1937 in Thomasville, GA. Rodney was a contractor for Baker Support Service. He was an avid musician and played in many different groups. He loved gardening and vacationing in the mountains.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving son, Rodney Hicks, Jr., (Angela) Warner Robins; his grandson, Nathan Cannon (Houston) Warner Robins; his 3 great-grandchildren: Laila Cannon; Carly Cannon; & Eason West and his sister, Edna Hicks Kelly, Tallahassee, FL.
