Obituary for Roger Dale Sparks

Roger Dale  Sparks
Kathleen- Roger Dale Sparks, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Houston Medical Center. The services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Chapel with interment immediately following in Magnolia Park Cemetery with military honors. The visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Please join us as we celebrate the life of Roger Dale Sparks.
Roger was born on March 2, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Ruth Marple Sparks and Reverend Frank Sparks of Bonaire, GA. He was a hard working and faithful family man, who always put his family above himself. He was a self employed truck driver for many years until his retirement. Roger served and worshipped at his father’s church, The Way, Truth and Life Full Gospel Church in Bonaire.
Left to cherish his life is his beloved wife, Sharon Stoffer Sparks of Kathleen; daughters: Melissa ManyPenny (Butch) of Canfield, OH, Sharon Thompson of Warner Robins & Stacey Morse (J.T.) of Kathleen; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and a host of brothers and sisters.
