Obituary for Rose Angeline Parker (Erdman)

Rose Angeline Parker, 75, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 10, 2015. At the request of Ms. Parker, services will be private.

Rose was born on May 29, 1939 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to the late Raymond John Erdman and Margaret Ann Wifler Erdman. A longtime resident of Middle Georgia, Rose was a proud supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and multiple other charities. A fabulous homemaker, she had a joyful disposition and truly enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. Rose was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Payne Carter.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Scott Payne, Nashville, Tennessee; Russ Forde (Laura); Nikki Ray, all of Roswell; Trey Allgood, Perry; former spouse, Cecil T. Parker, Perry; siblings, Darlene Dack, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Ron Erdman, Silsbee, Texas; Gary Erdman, Mound, Minnesota; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
