Words can't truly express the sadness of hearing of David's passing. Having known him since the 1970's when I was just a teenager, I have many fond memories of our time together. David's sarcasm, wit, and boyish practical jokes endeared me to him. His mutual love of old cars practically made him a member of our family, spending many weekends together at car shows and swap meets. Over the years after I moved away from W.R., I tried to make a point of stopping by David's shop to check in and laugh awhile. I'll miss those moments. Rest in peace my friend. Carl

I've known David since I was very young. I remember the elaborate Halloween productions where David and my father would scare the kids with costumes, music and light shows. The classic car conventions were always more fun with David. I remember the blindfolded wheelbarrow race when I was young in which David pushed me in a wheelbarrow through an obstacle course while blindfolded and I kept telling him to turn the wrong way. We all laughed and laughed. What a joy to have had David in our lives, with his friendship, kindness and good humor. Rest in peace
