Centerville – Thomas B. Brechin, 84, died unexpectedly at his home with his wife by his side, on Saturday, November 12, 2016. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Centerville United Methodist Church.

Thomas was born to the late William and Bessie Hill Brechin on December 24, 1931 in Birmingham, AL. Thomas proudly served his country by serving in the United States Air Force and working Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base, where he retired as an Aircraft Sheetmetal Mechanic. He was a long time member of Centerville United Methodist Church, where he served and enjoyed being a part of the Methodist Men. He was very involved in all of his children’s activities and enjoyed spending time with his family.

His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of 57 yrs, Nancy Swann Brechin; his loving children: Christopher Bryce Brechin (Kim) Portland, OR; Paul Bradley Brechin (Gretchen) Tucker, GA; Elizabeth Brechin Harrison (Robby) Kathleen, GA; his 7 grandchildren: Sarah, Anna, Bryce, Cole, Chase, Greer & Harper; his siblings: Bryce Brechin, Gadsden, AL; Jacqueline Keyser, Theodore, AL; & Joanne Voivedich, Harrisburg, KY.
