Tony Yama "Papa Honey"  Reeves
Macon- Tony Yama Reeves, 60, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 with his daughter and family by his side. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Burpee-Scott Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00- 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
Tony was born on July 18, 1956 in Macon, GA to the late Edgar and Hazel Carroll Reeves. He was currently working as a self-employed welder. He was a lover of life and family, in fact he was affectionately known as “Papa Honey” by his grandchildren. When he wasn’t spending time with his grandchildren, Tony could be found at his favorite fishing hole, “deer creek” or the “mud hole” or in the woods hunting. He was a simple man with simple pleasures except when it came to his Harley. Tony will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Laura Thompson Reeves, Macon, GA; daughter: Rachel Reeves (Alex Martinez), Warner Robins; 3 grandchildren: Trent Edward Booher, Rayna Kenzie Martinez & Sofia Luella Martinez; brothers and sister: John Chippetta, Reggie Reeves, Gino Reeves, Henry “Skeeter “ Reeves & Monica Rice.
