Perry – MSGT William “Bill” Haas, USAF (Ret.), 70, went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Browndale Cemetery, Pulaski County.

Bill was born to the late William Fred and Effie Rae Davis Haas in Royston, GA on July 14, 1946. Bill proudly served his country by serving in the United States Air Force in the Vietnam War and working in civil service at Robins Air Force Base, where he retired as a Computer Management Supervisor. He graduated from Truitt McConnell & Piedmont College with his Doctorate degree. He was an avid gardener and loved his farm animals. He was a member of Heritage Church.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 36 years, JoAnn Goss Haas; his sister, Melinda Haas Brothers (Frank) Martin, GA; his nieces: Linda Purvis; Sally Funderburke; his nephew, Chad Goss; and his 5 great nieces and nephews.
